Personal Care (Activities of Daily Living - ADLs)
Assistance with bathing, showering, and grooming. Help with dressing and personal hygiene. Toileting and incontinence care. Mobility support, transferring (e.g., from bed to chair), and positioning. Eating assistance and monitoring nutrient/liquid intake.
Household & Lifestyle Support
Meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping. Light housekeeping, laundry, and essential errands. Medication reminders (not administration). Transportation to appointments, social events, or shopping.
Companionship & Engagement
Providing social interaction, conversation, and emotional support. Escorting to religious services or community outings. Engaging in hobbies and activities.
Safety & Supervision
Creating a safe home environment. Supervision for those with dementia or Alzheimer's. Fostering independence while ensuring safety.
